Srilanka
An unfiltered journey through tranquil coastlines, countryside calm, and ancient arts of Lanka
7 Days of Coast, Culture & Community
Dates: 17 Oct - 23 Oct
Private group/family Travel: (Dates of your choice)
Travel is no longer measured by destinations checked off, but by the depth of perspective brought home.
At The Slow Life, we invite you to enrich your cultural capital while stepping into the living tapestry of Sri Lanka, an island of ancient civilizations, modern aesthetics, and artisanal traditions. This seven-day journey is curated as a mindful pause: an opportunity to connect with local communities, celebrate native craft, savor authentic cuisine, experience ethical wildlife encounters, traditional gemstone harvesting, and coastal adventures.
Beyond the well-trodden tourist trails lies a landscape waiting to be felt. From emerald hills, colonial high-country towns, and cascading waterfalls to quiet beaches and vibrant artist villages. You will return with a richer lens to appreciate the island of Ceylon, its people, and their heartwarming hospitality, carrying home a lasting deposit in your cultural capital.

Surf & Swim
Immerse in Adventures
Spend three unhurried days soaking up the slow rhythm of a coastal town from the comfort of a luxurious oceanfront villa. Begin your mornings catching waves at a surf class or swimming alongside wild sea turtles. Spend your afternoons exploring local cafes and artisan shops, then wind down the day with a collaborative sunset beach art session by the shore.
Gemstone Harvest
The Traditional Way
Savor a traditional farm-to-table lunch served in rustic clay pots right amidst the green fields. Afterwards, uncover the ancient art of riverbed gemstone harvesting alongside local artisans. It is a rare opportunity and experience to source authentic sapphires and crystals directly from the earth.
